Bibliometric Study on Geriatric Emergencies: Intellectual Structure, Prominent Themes, and Future-Directing Topics DOI Open Access

Objective: This study aims to identify the intellectual structure, prominent themes, and diseases associated with geriatric emergency care. Additionally, it seeks establish research questions for future studies. Material Methods: Co-citation co-occurrence analyses were conducted bibliometric evaluations. The Web of Science database was utilized. Diseases mentioned in 939 articles identified through thematic coding analysis abstracts titles. Finally, agenda prepared. Bibliometric carried out using R-based Bibliometrix software. Results: revealed two main themes: "Adverse Outcomes Elderly Post-Emergency Service, Delirium Identification, Multidisciplinary Interventions" "Diagnosis Management Cognitive Dysfunction Emergency Department Patients." Co-occurrence indicate that literature clusters around key themes such as "risk prevalence," "management epidemiology," "physical performance," "elderly care outcomes," community," "survival prognosis," "stroke related diseases." According list diseases, ten most frequently studied are, order, Cancer, Stroke, Dementia, Depression, Delirium, Alzheimer's, Carcinoma, Metabolic Syndrome, Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Failure. Conclusion: Adopting a comprehensive approach is essential improving older adults' quality life independenceHealthcare providers decision-makers should take these findings into consideration, they make significant contributions health independence elderly population. Furthermore, agendas have been formulated.
