Abstract Dissolved organic matter (DOM) has a great influence on the main pollution indexes of lakes (such as COD). Therefore, DOM research is basis for understanding water environmental quality and law pollutant migration transformation in basin. In this study, monitoring data Qinghai Lake body 8 rivers around lake from 2010 to 2020 were collected, dissolved was synchronously sampled May, September October 2020. The optical characteristics DOM, temporal spatial distribution CDOM fluorescence spectrum component FDOM analyzed studied. results show that: (1) From 2020, annual mean value COD Cr fluctuates range Class III V according standard surface water, shows downward trend first then an upward one. general, concentration at high level varies slightly among different months. Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed female worldwide. Environmental contaminant exposure suspected to be crucial, but broad-spectrum communal properties that these contaminants all share remain explored, especially in source and drinking water. In this work, we focused on Pearl River Basin, which has highest breast incidence mortality China, hypothesized risk area associated with its water source. Our objective was resolve possible are from mixture extracts of identify key drivers by utilizing latest epidemiology data, performing an exhaustive toxicological chemical characterization, combining partial least-squares path statistics modeling (PLS-PM). We proposed a for water-toxicity-induced confirmed association estrogen-receptor- thiol-depletion-relevant mechanisms. The water-mixture-promoted mammalian cell proliferation (i.e., estrogenic effect), while greater thiol depletion oxidative stress). Endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) dissolved organic matter (DOM) anthropogenic sources effects stress, respectively. PLS-PM standardized DOM EDCs treated were −0.07 0.31, 0.35 respectively, further revealing strongly influence risk, whereas resulted joint DOM. This study clearly shows between toxicity high-prevalence broadening future perspectives water-contaminant-specific prevention research.

Understanding the interactions between heterogeneous dissolved organic matter (DOM) and nonylphenols (NPs) is essential for predicting their behavior fate in environment. Herein, we firstly obtained different MW-fractionated humic acids (HAs) using ultrafiltration method. Afterward, molecular weight (MW)-dependent of HAs with 4-nonylphenol (4-NP) were analysed by excitation emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy, quenching, UV-vis Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy principal component analysis (PCA). EEM spectra indicated that quenching mechanism was static. In binding process, higher MW fractions showed stronger interaction 4-NP than lower counterparts, exhibiting a clear MW-dependent heterogeneity. The constants 4-NP-HAs system suppressed as ionic strength decreased pH increased, which especially obvious to HAs. FTIR revealed hydroxyl aromatics involved process HA 4-NP. It also found from 1H NMR π-π aromatic rings responsible complexation. correlation PCA results aromaticity play important roles confirmed an heterogeneity among samples. This work highlighted heterogeneities HA, suggested distribution should be taken into consideration when exploring biogeochemistry cycling contaminated environments.

Aqueous extract of toad skin (named as Cinobufacini or Huachansu) provides plentiful sources bioactive peptides that remain undetected and unidentified. High-resolution mass spectrometry (MS)-based peptidomics platforms have developed into a major approach to the discovery natural peptides, with data-dependent acquisition modes providing wealth peptide profiling information. In this study, we used gel pairs for purification nano LC-MS/MS-based peptidomic studies homology matching identification from Cinobufacini. We evaluated 232 non-monovalent found several species-specific some which were validated by target parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) mode. These in skins are completely different ones identified venom. So, mapping key information quality control Bufo bufo gargarizans its preparation.
