Microplastics are ubiquitous and affect all environments, including rivers. In recent years the number of studies about microplastics in rivers has strongly increased. But still many questions exist regarding sources, pathways, role land use patterns. this study relationship between abundance anthropogenic factors (population density, urbanization, types), as well potential storm sewers pathways tributaries Wu River Taichung, central Taiwan, were studied. Two river catchments Dali studied greater detail to investigate influence on along an urban-rural gradient, observe change transition from rural urban areas. Samples taken 41 different locations areas using a manta net with mesh size 0.3 mm. Results show abundances ranging 0 pcs/m³ unpopulated up 230 densely populated centers, positively correlated population density. Remarkably, sharp increase was observed at areas, which coincides appearance sewers. Land analysis revealed that correlates industrial, residential traffic catchment negatively forest Source for likely commercial Furthermore, results correlations density or patterns gradients not trivial. Strength can depend local how developed. Absence need be considered carefully, existing might masked by above-mentioned factors.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the structure and dynamics academic articles relating public procurement (PP) in period 1984–2022 (up May). researchers also intend analyse how knowledge domain has grown since 1984. Design/methodology/approach A bibliometric analysis was carried out examine existing state PP research. Based on 640 journal indexed Scopus database written by 1,247 authors over nearly four decades, a conducted reveal intellectual works pertaining PP. Findings that research from significantly increased past decade. Major journals publishing are International Journal Procurement Management , Cleaner Production Purchasing Supply Public Money . Results indicate authors’ cooperation network fragmented, showing limited collaboration among researchers. In addition, results suggest institutional mirrors what commonly referred as North–South divide, signifying insufficient between developed developing countries’ institutions. According co-occurrence keyword topic modelling, revolves around five main themes, including innovation, corruption, sustainable green PP, contracts small medium enterprises. these results, several directions for future suggested. Abstract In the last decade, biochar application research has emerged as a hot topic in water treatment studies, which made adsorption one of primary wastewater strategies. This paper presents global bibliometric analysis 2673 publications from Web Science database, spanning 2011–2022. For comprehensive understanding status and trends for treatment, advanced quantitative visual tools (i.e., CiteSpace ArcGIS) were employed. The results showed that China leading country with most published articles. key area is on magnetic wastewater. articles summarized review demonstrated unequivocally can treat wide range even though mechanisms heavy metals, inorganic salts organic pollutants are not entirely consistent. further analyzes factors affecting performance adsorbing improvement measures functional characteristics, proposing future directions focusing capacity products. information synthesis discussion would provide valuable insights historical, current, research, beneficial to solve practical problems pollution improve quality environment.
