Irrigation of crops with domestic wastewater (DW) is a common practice in developing countries like India. However, irrigation poses risk migration toxic heavy metals to edible parts crops, which requires serious measures prevent their uptake. In this study, the effect DW comparison Sarbal Lake water (SLW) and borewell (BW) on soil characteristics cultivated saffron (Crocus sativus L.) was investigated. For purpose, samples water, soil, (corm, petal, stigma) were collected from suburban area Pampore, Srinagar district, Jammu Kashmir, The results showed that had maximum significant (p < 0.05) influence physico-chemical nutrient followed by SLW BW irrigation, respectively. growth yield parameters also significantly increased case as compared BW. quality ranking found be accordance ISO standard (III: II: SLW). On other hand, increase metal contents (mg/kg) plant such As (0.21–0.40), Cd (0.04–0.09), Cr (0.16–0.41), Cu (7.31–14. 75), Fe (142.38–303.15), Pb (0.18–0.31), Mn (15.26–22.81), Hg (0.18–0.25), Ni (0.74–1.18), Se (0.13–0.22), Zn (3.44–4.59), levels did not exceed FAO/WHO safe limits. Bioaccumulation factor (BAF), dietary intake modeling (DIM<0.006496), health assessment (HRI<0.028571), target hazard quotient (THQ<1) analyses no potential associated consumption irrigated SLW. Therefore, study provide valuable insights into optimization sources for cultivation.

The word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing process is one of the main means by which consumers obtain information. As a communication channel between in economically developing countries, WOM may contribute to development organic food market. primary objective this study segment saffron Mashhad, Iran, and determine how they engage marketing. Data were collected through questionnaires from 13 districts Mashhad using stratified sampling method. In study, 400 grouped self-organizing map (SOM) neural network based on consumer neobehavioristic theory, then, decision trees, behavior rules extracted for participating each group. According results, less than fifty percent four market segments are willing participate advertising saffron. A lack awareness characteristics also found be reason consumers' reluctance recommend others. Mass-media an effective way raise influence opinion leaders, ultimately resulting recommendations.
