Agricultural production relies heavily on pesticides. However, factors like inefficient application, pesticide resistance, and environmental conditions reduce their effective utilization in agriculture. Subsequently, pesticides transfer into the soil, adversely affecting its physicochemical properties, microbial populations, enzyme activities. Different interacting can lead to combined toxicity, posing risks non-target organisms, biodiversity, organism-environment interactions. Pesticide exposure may cause both acute chronic effects human health. Biochar, with high specific surface area porosity, offers numerous adsorption sites. Its stability, eco-friendliness, superior capabilities render it an excellent choice. As a versatile material, biochar finds use agriculture, management, industry, energy, medicine. Added helps absorb or degrade contaminated areas, enhancing soil activity. Current research primarily focuses produced via direct pyrolysis for adsorption. Studies functionalized this purpose are relatively scarce. The presence of malachite green (MG) in surface waters represents a major health hazard for aquatic organisms and communities living near contaminated water sources. In this study, almond shell adsorbents prepared from the four types Marcona (M), Fournat de Brézenaud (FZ), Ferraduel (FD) Ferriages (FG), used to clean wastewater textile industry that had been with color MG. Optimal adsorption parameters were determined through batch experiments using standard dye solution. Further, SEM, XRD, BET, FTIR employed characterizing biosorbents. examination experimental data isotherms kinetic models revealed MG occurs monolayer, chemical as rate-controlling step. maximum capacities, under pH around 7 temperature 35 °C 40.82, 60.98, 48.08, 117.65 mg/g M, FD, FG, FZ, respectively. addition, MC simulation models, DFT, calculations performed provide more detailed understanding mechanism. Adsorption modeling is important to understand and predict both how water contamination occurs, it might be prevented or remediated. Surface complexation models (SCM) help us adsorption under changing environmental conditions.
