The present strategy introduces a novel hydrothermal method to develop rod-like highly crystalline zircon-type erbium vanadate (ErVO4) structure combined with spherical shaped functionalized boron nitride (F-BN), forming ErVO4/F-BN heterostructure, through the sonochemical method. resultant heterostructure composite was characterized using different spectroscopic techniques, and fabricated on screen-printed carbon paste electrode (SPCE) for electrochemical sensing of nitrofurazone. Further characteristic analyses including cyclic voltammetry (CV), impedance spectroscopy (EIS), differential pulse were performed analyze electrocatalytic reduction mechanism NFN. Fascinatingly, modified SPCE displayed broad dynamic linear range 0.001 306 μM limit detection 0.49 nM sensitivity 21.178 μA·μM–1·cm–2 also superior selectivity 5-fold variation toward interfering compounds delivered excellent stability, reproducibility, practical analysis in real water samples, suggesting feasibility application as an sensor antibiotics.
