Abstract Salinity stress is a significant challenge in agricultural production. When soil contains high salts, it can adversely affect plant growth and productivity due to the concentration of soluble salts water. To overcome this issue, foliar applications methyl jasmonate (MJ) gibberellic acid (GA3) be productive amendments. Both potentially improve plant’s attributes flowering, which are imperative improving yield. However, limited literature available on their combined use canola mitigate salinity stress. That’s why current study investigates impact different levels MJ (at concentrations 0.8, 1.6, 3.2 mM MJ) GA3 (0GA3 5 mg/L GA3) cultivated salt-affected soils. Applying all treatments four replicates. Results indicate that application 0.8 with significantly enhances shoot length (23.29%), dry weight (24.77%), number leaves per (24.93%), flowering branches (26.11%), chlorophyll (31.44%), b (20.28%) total (27.66%) carbohydrates (22.53%) over control. Treatment resulted decrease proline (48.17%), MDA (81.41%), SOD (50.59%), POD (14.81%) while increase N (10.38%), P (15.22%), K (8.05%) compared control under In conclusion, + More investigations recommended at field level declare as best amendment for alleviating crops.

This study aimed to assess the occurrence of eight heavy metals in lychee (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) fruit samples collected from orchards Dehradun and Haridwar districts Uttarakhand, India. Lychee were ten (10) sampling locations May June 2023 analyzed using inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES). Results showed that varying levels selected metals, i.e., Cd (0.009–0.095 mg/kg), Cr (0.079–0.960 Cu (0.095–0.258 Fe (0.254–0.531 Pb (0.000–0.011 Mn (0.862–1.903 Ni (0.166–0.310 Zn (0.076–0.149 mg/kg). It was observed sites near urban industrial areas had higher concentrations as compared those rural agricultural areas. In addition, principal component analysis (PCA) clustered heatmap dendrogram results several significant similarities terms metal availability. Overall, all below safe limits suggested by health risk studies. The indices such daily intake (DIM), index (HRI), target hazard quotient (THQ) did not exceed standard limit which indicated consumption at sites. this emphasize need regularly monitor implement sustainable environmental practices reduce contamination sources.

In recent years, the use of priming agents, such as silicon, melatonin, salicylic acid, glycine betaine, and ascorbic acid has gained significant attention for their role in mitigating abiotic stresses across various plant species. While previous research been conducted on individual impact metal stress resistance among crop species, combined effects context heavy stressed conditions remain underexplored. Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) seedlings was grown under toxic concentration copper (Cu) i.e., 100 µM which were applied with hydroponic 21 days. The outcomes indicated that Cu nutrient solution notably reduced growth biomass, photosynthetic pigments, gas exchange attributes. However, also induced oxidative plants by increasing malondialdehyde (MDA), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) increased compounds enzymatic non-enzymatic antioxidants, health risk index (HRI) gene expression sugar content. Furthermore, a increase proline metabolism, AsA-GSH cycle, pigmentation cellular components observed. Although, application different showed characteristics, compounds, decreased HRI. addition, agents enhanced fractionation metabolism cycle T. seedlings. These results open new insights sustainable agriculture practices hold immense promise addressing pressing challenges contamination agricultural soils.

Plant growth regulators (PGRs) play an important role in increasing crop yield, and quality, enhancing stress resistance agricultural production, especially for crops. PGRs can affect the transport distribution of assimilates by changing content endogenous hormones plants. Numerous empirical research results have proven that impact on growth, development, yield composition wheat. Taking wheat plants as example, this study reviews application production explores their yield. Furthermore, residues microbial degradation are summarized detail. Finally, future directions PGR proposed. This summary is great significance understanding production.
