The electrical conductivity of low concentrations lanthanum-doped SrTiO3 nanocube ceramics synthesized using the facile solvothermal method in mixed organic and inorganic solvents with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a capping agent tert-butyl amine (TBA) mineralizer was investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed formation high-purity perovskite phase, corresponding to standard data pattern refinement results. particles sample were nanocubes, whereas La-doped more uniform size shape, shown TEM images. FT-IR spectrum vibration CH3-N+ groups from CTAB TBA, indicating an electrostatic interaction between their functional particle surface. Substitution La3+ ions at increased compared undoped sample. Lanthanum donates excess electrons, thereby increasing number electron carriers, which causes reduction band gap energy according UV-DRS analysis Tauc equation.

Tetracycline has received a great deal of interest for the harmful effects substance abuse on ecosystems and humanity. The different processes degradation tetracycline were compared, with dual-frequency ultrasound (DFUS) in combination peroxymonosulfate (PMS) being most effective degradation. Free radical scavenging experiments showed that O2∙-, SO4∙- •OH main reactive radicals tetracycline. According to major intermediates identified, three possible pathways proposed, which are significance translational studies Notably, these found be significantly less toxicity. number active bubbles vessel was calculated using semi-empirical formula, higher value 1.44 × 108 L-1s−1 obtained when at 20 kHz (210 W/L) 80 (85.4 W/L). Therefore, compared kHz, although yield strong oxidizing substances from individual decreased slightly, significant increment still resulted synergistic effect, DFUS PMS should promoting generation free mass transfer within vessel, provides method efficient removal wastewater.

Pollutant treatment, hazardous solid waste conversion, and biomass resource utilization are significant topics in environmental pollution control, simultaneously achieving them is challenging. Herein, we developed a "from absorbent to effective photocatalyst" upcycle strategy for nontoxic conversion of Cd(II) adsorbed on thiolation@wood-aerogel (TWA) into CdS/g-C3N4 heterojunctions through the situ chemical deposition high-temperature carbonization combined method overcome above problems simultaneously. We used Schiff base reaction graft l-cysteine dialdehyde@wood-aerogel prepare TWA with high adsorption capacity (600 mg/L, 294.66 mg/g). Subsequently, spent Cd(II)-loaded-TWA was as substrate construction heterojunction activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS) under simulated sunlight [simulated solar light (SSL)], efficient tetracycline (TC) degradation (20 95.32%). The Langmuir pseudo-second-order models indicate single-layer process. In PMS/SSL system, CdS/g-C3N4@TWA efficiently rapidly degraded TC via an adsorption-photocatalytic synergistic mechanism. has good biocompatibility. This study proposed design preparation new type wood aerogel provided novel upcycling innovative use adsorbent.
