The electrical conductivity of low concentrations lanthanum-doped SrTiO3 nanocube ceramics synthesized using the facile solvothermal method in mixed organic and inorganic solvents with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a capping agent tert-butyl amine (TBA) mineralizer was investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed formation high-purity perovskite phase, corresponding to standard data pattern refinement results. particles sample were nanocubes, whereas La-doped more uniform size shape, shown TEM images. FT-IR spectrum vibration CH3-N+ groups from CTAB TBA, indicating an electrostatic interaction between their functional particle surface. Substitution La3+ ions at increased compared undoped sample. Lanthanum donates excess electrons, thereby increasing number electron carriers, which causes reduction band gap energy according UV-DRS analysis Tauc equation.

Heterogeneous photocatalysis coupled with peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation is considered as an advanced water purification technology for emerging contaminates degradation. In this context, we introduce a novel coupling system that integrates PMS metal-free visible light-driven photocatalysis, utilizing boron doped C3N5 (BCNs), the objective of swiftly eliminating tetracycline (TC). With commendable traits including robust response to light, n→π* electronic transitions and narrow bandgap, 3BCN optimized from BCNs, exhibited superior catalytic activity in activation. 3BCN/PMS/vis system, degradation efficiency TC reached 88.6%, observed rate constant (kobs) 0.0222 min-1 removal. Moreover, real matrices tap water, landscape secondary effluent, consistently maintained high stable pollutant removal efficiency. To elucidate underlying mechanisms, origins reactive species (h+, SO4-•, •OH 1O2) were identified enhanced pathways PMS-based photocatalytic systematically investigated. Based on theoretical calculations, generation pathway oxygen involving oxidation reduction over region atom neighboring N BCN was unraveled. The catalyst employed flow-through device explore its potential practical application. results showed continuous impressive efficient achieved 93% during 32 h operation. Our findings underscore substantial promise chemical-photocatalysis synergy environment remediation, offering feasible approach optimize performance materials photo-catalytic antibiotics.
