The choice of extractant for estimating plant-available potassium (K) in mica-rich soil has not been universally established. In order to evaluate and monitor the complex chemical performance K K-rich soil, subsequently, its availability crops, a suitable protocol that takes into consideration properties relation rice plant parts (root, shoot, grain) uptake becomes necessary. Nine laboratory extraction methods estimate content using 63 samples collected from nearly 21 mica mines, encompassing wide range across different agricultural lands. While ammonium acetate is widely used testing, other have also proposed crop-available K. Among various extractants tested, 0.5 M sodium bicarbonate at pH 8.5 (mean 132.24 mg/kg) gave best results areas near mines. Additionally, water-soluble showed promise such as root, grain uptake, indicated by correlation coefficient 0.94, 0.93 respectively. Based on artificial neural network (ANN) Sobol (variance-based method determining how input variables contribute output variance model) methods, Mehlich 3 procedure extractable forms positive impact grain. Taylor (a graphical tool compare models) diagram comparing multiple machine learning algorithms, multivariate adaptive regression spline extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) emerged best-fit models contribution each uptake. Considering soils derived weathered parent materials often negative balances, which could lead
