The acoustic Lichtenberg figure (ALF) in an ultrasonic cleaner with a frequency of 28 kHz at different power levels was observed using high-speed photography. nonlinear response the cavitation structure analyzed by entropy spectrum ALF images, which showed modulation influence primary field, exhibiting fluctuations bubble distribution time. Typical Y-branches predict paths surrounding bubbles are attracted and converge into structure, branches curved due to bubble-bubble interactions, curvature increases as approaching main chain. average travelling speed along is about 1.1 m/s, almost independent level cleaner. A theoretical model consisting free straight chain finite length developed explore evolutionary mechanism branching. It found that trajectories bending tendency similar experimentally Y-branches, stationary parallel could evolve eventually become branch predictions agree well experimental results, verifying ALF.

An analysis of the physical and chemical phenomena accompanying electrical discharges is carried out, main factors influencing microorganisms’ abatement are studied. The similarity cavitation processes in water systems induced by underwater electric ultrasound experimentally demonstrated. characteristic features discharge mode, providing effective disinfection with a significantly reduced amount active chlorine, identified order importance. inactivation microorganisms intensified, firstly, generation chemically particles from medium itself, due to integral action electro-discharge whole treated volume, local shock waves, acoustic flows, ultraviolet radiation area near cavitating bubbles. advantages over ultrasonic range wider high-frequency inherent an discharge, high intensity power processes, possibility significant increase volume disinfected liquid. This study allows for better understanding prediction bacterial effects that occur during high-voltage discharge.
