Gut fungi and bacteriophages, as members of the gut microbiota, can affect interactions between bacteria host, participate in host metabolism, are associated with various diseases. Probiotics substantially influence modulating their composition through both direct indirect mechanisms, thereby influencing health. Current research primarily focuses on effects probiotics intestinal bacterial community. However, alterations compositions bacteriophages following probiotic intervention not yet fully understood.
