This paper reports the structural, dielectric and electrical properties of Fe3+ ions substituted magnesium chromite with composition MgFexCr2-xO4 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4 mol%) synthesized via solution combustion method. The structural analysis was done by XRD pattern which confirmed formation cubic crystal symmetry samples Fd-3m space group. value lattice parameters chromites slightly increased increasing concentration ions. TEM (Transmission electron microscopy) micrographs at different magnifications showed spherical particles sample average particle size found to be ≈ 56.22 nm. (dielectric constant loss) ac conductivity were investigated in frequency range 100 Hz- kHz temperature 50 °C 350 °C. studies that parameter decreases high can explained Maxwell-Wagner type charge polarization. increases due increase dependent studied an temperature, followed Jonscher's universal power law. grain boundary defect barrier. non-Debye relaxation behaviour Cole-Cole plot. obtained result shows capability for fabrication micro-electronic devices, sensors, other electronic devices.
