Technological progress has made chemistry assume a role of primary importance in our daily life. However, the worsening level environmental pollution is increasingly leading to realization more eco-friendly chemical processes due advent green chemistry. The challenge produce and better while consuming rejecting less. It represents profitable approach address problems new demands industrial competitiveness. concept finds application several material syntheses such as organic, inorganic, coordination materials nanomaterials. One different goals pursued field science GC for producing sustainable polymers membranes. In this context, extremely relevant production imprinted by means its combination with molecular imprinting technology. Referring issue, present review, polymeric discussed. addition, principles well their developing greenificated, membranes are presented. particular, actions (e.g., use harmless chemicals, natural polymers, ultrasound-assisted synthesis extraction, supercritical CO2, etc.) characterizing post-imprinting process molecularly highlighted.

Molecular imprinting-based ratiometric fluorescence (MI-RFL) nanosensors receive increasing concerns in various fields such as food security, owing to high selectivity and sensitivity, nondestruction, convenience, visualization, etc. Herein, a ternary-emission MI-RFL nanosensor was facilely constructed by postimprinting mixing (PIM) red-emission molecularly imprinted polymers (r-MIPs) green MIPs (g-MIPs) for rapid visual detection of folic acid (FA) samples. The two fluorescent were prepared using sol–gel surface imprinting one-pot method, with FA template molecules, SiO2 nanoparticles supporting materials, 3-mercaptopropionic acid-modified red CdTe quantum dots (CdTe QDs), glutathione-modified QDs sources, respectively. Under the optimal conditions, good linearity ranging from 0.05 50 ppm attained accompanied rich color evolution, limit down 0.005 ppm. Then, tablets milk powder tested, almost consistent contents that actual results found, recoveries 89.39–103.43% relative standard deviations less than 3.37%. Furthermore, nanosensor-based kit fabricated analyze observing change 9 min, indicating kit's accuracy practicality. This study can provide universal point-of-care testing method on-site monitoring targets complicated matrices.
