Purpose The study investigated the relationship between digital supply chain (DSC) and sustainable performance (SSCP) of small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) via lens integration (SCI) information sharing (IS). This concentrates more on mediating role SCI IS in link DSC SSCP that no research has mentioned before. Design/methodology/approach figures out how impacts organization chain. By employing a carefully designed questionnaire to gather data, quantitative methodology was employed. Managers at senior medium levels were responders who targeted. There are 467 valid replies gathered from primary survey. data results used analysis using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Findings findings imply SCI’s function information-sharing process is crucial as it fosters cooperation, coordination connectivity throughout DSC. Furthermore, study’s conclusions offer helpful businesses might enhance through exchange. Businesses constantly concentrating plays catalyst for growth improving Originality/value highlights gaps unexplored themes existing literature, catalogs published main logistics journals helps people recognize appreciate this kind work. It also potential contribute future SSCP. Moreover, novelty further reinforced by coverage newfound mechanism, where mediate SSCP, directly positively enhancing

Purpose We present configurational theorising as a novel approach to developing middle-range theory in two steps: (1) we illustrate new form of supply chain inquiry by connecting its philosophical assumptions with methodological execution, and (2) generate insights underpinning for resilience. Design/methodology/approach synthesise information from range sources invoke ‘critical realism” suggest five-phase roadmap develop theory. demonstrate this explain resilience analysing qualitative data 22 organisations within the Australian food chain. Findings Coopetition collaboration are necessary causal conditions, but they need combine either agility or multi-sourcing strategy build Asymmetrical analyses showed that simultaneous absence collaboration, results low resilience, coopetition was indifferent Similarly, high is possible non-presence multi-sourcing. Research limitations/implications The presented empirically tested paper constitutes substantial advancement both domain. Originality/value This first attempt at chains explicitly drawing on theorising.
