The primary actor in today’s economic life, forming the backbone of production-consumption cycle, is distribution activities. Logistics centers (LCs) are organized areas where these activities carried out together. Therefore, efficiency and effectiveness crucial for sustainability. This study incorporates fuzzy logic theory into framework data envelopment analysis (DEA) to measure LCs. Classical DEA assumes input output precisely measured, making scores unreliable inconsistent when precision not always possible. adoption primarily overcome possible uncertainties, errors, ambiguities acquisition, preventing incorrect results. Hence, an approach lie within specific intervals, was adopted calculate efficiencies LCs based on α-cut levels. Officially obtained nine one variable from twelve operating Turkey were used scores. As a result study, Köseköy/Izmit, Halkali/Istanbul, Yenice/Mersin found be fully efficient considering both lower upper bound efficiencies. Moreover, calculations using Fuzzy-DEA allowed more precise evaluation with high sensitivity.

Over recent years, location-routing problems have become popular, since they tackle multiple major decisions in supply chains. With the focus now on sustainable chains, problem has sought-after, with emphasis complying goals set by world leaders such as environmental rules and social equity. As a result, this opened research directions within problem. In literature, merely been two of sustainability pillars, economic no integration pillar. article, aim is to integrate pillar alongside ones modeling system capacitated two-echelon tackling scenarios. Under umbrella optimization technology, algorithm used solve genetic algorithm. This article also demonstrates process designing experimentation phase selecting variables aiming fine-tune models. Multiple parent selection methods crossover were tested, among other variables. The proven its success finding near-optimum value when compared benchmark solution, an error less than 0.05%. Tournament performed better method contrast stochastic universal sampling, proved be more stable face noise induced study shows that pillar, like can integrated at extensive level, beyond what normally implemented.
