Abstract
Recent
years
have
witnessed
a
surge
in
research
on
aqueous
zinc‐ion
batteries
(AZIBs)
due
to
their
low
cost,
stability,
and
exceptional
electrochemical
performance,
among
other
advantages.
However,
practical
manufacturing
deployment
of
AZIBs
been
hindered
by
challenges
such
as
energy
density,
significant
precipitation‐related
side
reactions,
slow
ion
migration,
dendritic
growth.
Addressing
these
issues
enhancing
the
application
necessitates
development
novel
materials.
Carbon
dots
(CDs),
with
distinctive
structure
superior
properties,
represent
an
innovative
class
carbon‐based
materials
broad
potential
applications
for
optimizing
AZIBs'
performance.
This
study
offers
comprehensive
review
how

can
address
aforementioned
