Boehmite is an aluminum oxyhydroxide (AlO(OH)) and one of bauxite’s main mineral phases. This highly valued as important source for the metallurgical industry. However, formation synthetic boehmite has been observed in water treatment when anodes are used electrocoagulation. occurs flocs that capture impurities from water, but removing these a slow process. Therefore, froth-flotation method was employed present study to float boehmite. achieved by evaluating particle size boehmite, generating microbubbles, using anionic collector system novel experimental setup. The results show surfactants sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) potassium oleate (PO) favor recovery different sizes, with favored related bubble generated. It noted increasing SDS concentration enabled microbubbles recover up 95% particles diameters less than 30 microns.

Abstract Oral administration has long been considered the most convenient method of drug delivery, requiring minimal expertise and invasiveness. Unlike injections, it avoids discomfort, wound infections, complications, leading to higher patient compliance. However, effectiveness oral delivery is often hindered by harsh biological barriers gastrointestinal tract, which limit bioaccessibility bioavailability drugs. The development systems (ODDSs) represents a critical area for advancement pharmacotherapy. This review highlights characteristics precise targeting mechanisms ODDSs. It first examines unique properties each compartment, including stomach, small intestine, intestinal mucus, epithelial barrier, colon. Based on these features, outlines strategies design principles ODDSs aimed at overcoming enhance disease treatment. Lastly, discusses challenges potential future directions ODDS development, emphasizing their importance advancing technologies accelerating growth. Graphical

Published: June 4, 2025

The growing global energy demand has elevated coalbed methane (CBM) as a crucial unconventional source, yet its efficient extraction faces challenges like low formation pressure and borehole instability. Foam drilling fluids, offering advantages such density, reduced reservoir damage, effective cuttings transport, are hindered by thermodynamic instability under complex geological conditions. This study explores the development of novel Pickering foam fluid for CBM extraction, utilizing dodecyl dimethyl betaine (BS-12) α-olefin sulfonate (AOS) foaming agents, mechanically disintegrated cellulose nanofibers (CNFs) with xanthan gum (XG) stabilizers. results reveal that incorporation CNFs XG reduces volume while significantly enhancing stability, extending half-life from 11.5 to 2485 min. synergistic effects among BS-12, AOS, CNFs, contribute size, thicker liquid films, robust interfacial interactions, ensuring sustained performance harsh Additionally, exhibited superior rheological filtration performance. presence increases apparent viscosity, plastic yield stress 1.75, 0.5, 1.25 26.5 mPa·s, 11 15.5 Pa, respectively; decreases API loss 450 14.8 mL. work highlights potential in stabilizing foams, providing theoretical foundation designing advanced, sustainable fluids tailored specific development.
