The continuous expansion and development of anthropogenic activities pose considerable threats to the habitats myriad species. Therefore, exploring how protect optimize species' achieve harmony between humans nature is particularly important. As a paradise for wildlife, Poyang Lake habitat breeding ground birds, fish, other aquatic organisms. In this study, adopting multi-level perspective 'point-line-area', we had an appliance conservation by constructing ecological security pattern (ESP) in Ecoregion (PYLE). We produced land use cover from 2000 2040 using random forest cellular automata-Markov model. Combining morphological spatial analysis, landscape index, Linkage Mapper, constructed long-term ESP PYLE considering protection. spatiotemporal dynamics were compared analyzed. results show that PYLE's rapid economic led extensive urban growth, encroaching on surrounding bare land, which could undermine local survival. Abstract New urbanization (NU) and ecological welfare performance (EWP) play pivotal roles in achieving sustainable urban development, with both emphasizing social equity environmental management. Exploring the coordinated relationship between EWP NU is invaluable for understanding symbiotic interplay humans nature. We constructed a framework to elucidate coupling mechanism of from perspective systems theory. quantified levels utilizing entropy weighting method super-efficient SBM method, respectively. Furthermore, we assessed degree coordination two using model (CCDM). Spatial temporal evolution analysis was conducted, factors influencing were explored through spatial–temporal geographically-weighted regression (GTWR). The results indicate: (1) During study period, average annual increase area 2.59%, narrowing relative gap cities. Conversely, level 7.6%, demographic economic dimensions carrying highest weights. (2) type transitions basic moderate coordination, development lagging behind that NU. (3) City size demonstrates positive yet diminishing trend on level, exerting greatest influence exhibiting "V" trend, while impact green technology innovation diminishes negatively. Imbalanced supplies and demands of ecosystem services (ESSD) can negatively affect human well-being. Optimizing land use patterns in cities regions is, fact, essential to mitigate this challenge ensure sustainable development. In context, the present study aims analyze supply demand food production (FPs), carbon sequestration (CSs), recreation (RSs) a typical coal resource-based city (Huainan) China. addition, main influencing factors their driving mechanisms were further explored using geographical detector (Geo-Detector) multi-scale geographic weighted regression (MGWR) models. Future changes also predicted under traditional constrained development scenarios GeoSOS-FLUS model. The obtained results indicated that: (1) comprehensive service (ES) index decreased from 1.42 0.84, while increased 0.74 0.95 during 2010–2020 period; (2) urban rural areas had spatial disparities; (3) construction, ecological, cultivated strongly impacted ES; (4) implementing effectively protect ecological land, control expansion, improve ESSD relationships Huainan City. This provides valuable theoretical foundation methodological framework for future optimization efforts, as well enhancing sustainability mitigating imbalance between services.

Understanding the complex interactions between urbanization and ecosystem services (ESs) is crucial for optimizing planning policies achieving sustainable urban management. While previous research has largely focused on highly urbanized areas, little attention been given to phased effect of progressive ES networks. This study proposes a conceptual framework that utilizes network method space-time replacement examine relationships among ESs at different stages, with particular emphasis evolution process. We apply this Horqin area, typical eco-fragile area in China. Results demonstrate connectivity synergy exhibits non-stationary characteristic, initially increasing, then decreasing, subsequently strengthening, while its modularity shows rising trend during periods accelerated urbanization.
