Car-sharing services, which provide short-term vehicle rentals in urban centers, are rapidly expanding globally but also face numerous challenges. A significant challenge is the effective management of fleet selection to meet user expectations. Addressing this challenge, as well methodological and literature gaps, objective article present an original methodology that supports evaluation suitability fleets used car-sharing systems identify features preferred by users necessary for specific types travel. The proposed methodology, incorporates elements transportation system modeling concurrent analysis, was tested using a real-world case study involving service operator. research focused on commuting needs work or educational purposes. conducted German operator Berlin. carried out from 1 January 30 June 2022. findings indicate best vehicles respondents large cars representing classes D E, equipped with combustion engine power 63 149 kW, at least parking sensors, navigation, hands-free, lane assistant, heated seats, high safety standards indicated Euro NCAP ratings, offered lowest possible rental price. results align market trends Germany, focus sale medium-sized vehicles.
