This research offers a comparative analysis of how varying physical properties affect heat transfer in fluid-filled annulus between coaxial cylinders. The fluid movement is driven by the linear expansion inner cylinder, with outer cylinder remaining stationary. Additionally, study considers two distinct variations variable viscosity function: (a) an inverse-linear temperature dependency and (b) exponential dependency, sometimes referred to as Reynolds law. To streamline numerical integration process, governing equations are transformed into ordinary differential that include parameter γ , which inversely proportional cylinder’s radius. present findings compared existing under limiting conditions, comparison shows excellent agreement. Flow visualization via streamlines isotherms velocity profiles higher for narrower gaps cylinders wider gaps. data skin friction coefficient surface cooling rate presented both graphical tabular forms. highlights different gap sizes stretching impact required force influence cooling. result noticeable increase pressure distribution profile Nusselt number differently.
