Abstract Heavy metals like Cadmium, Lead, and Chromium are the pollutants emitted into environment through industrial development. In this work, a new diphenylamine coordinated cobalt complex (Co-DPA) has been synthesized tested for its efficiency in removing heavy from wastewater, adsorption capacity was investigated. The effectiveness of removal by Co-DPA evaluated adjusting parameters, such as adsorbent dose, pH, initial concentration, period. metal concentrations real sample were 0.267, 0.075, 0.125 mg/L Cd 2+ , Pb Cr 3+ before using as-synthesized to treat wastewater. After being treated with concentration reduced 0.0129, 0.00028, 0.00054 respectively, 80 min. 95.6%, 99.5%, 99.5% respective metals. process fitted satisfactorily Freundlich isotherm R 2 (0.999, 0.997, 0.995) respectively. kinetic data obeyed pseudo-second order pseudo-first . Based on results obtained within framework study, it is concluded that good eliminate ions wastewater solution. general, promising material water. Graphical

Statistics reveal that egg production has increased in recent decades. This growth suggests there is a global rise available eggshell biomass due to the current underutilization of this bio-waste material. A number different applications for waste eggshells (WEGs) are known, include their use as an additive human/animal food, soil amendment, cosmetics, catalyst, sorbent, and filler polymer composites. In article, worldwide leading countries examined, addition discussion various biomass. Eggshells rich supplement calcium carbonate; therefore, they can be added particulate turn, lower-cost filler, such or carbonate, reduce overall material fabrication costs. Polylactic acid (PLA) currently high-demand biopolymer, where PLA composites gained increasing attention its eco-friendly properties. review, contain carbonate emphasized, mechanical properties (e.g., tensile strength, flexural elastic modulus, elongation (%) at break) investigated. The results from review eggshell/calcium reduces strength composites, whereas increase break described herein.

The rapid expansion of the textile industry in Tunisia has resulted ever-increasing discharges wastewater, making it necessary to set up treatment systems allowing i) its discharge into environment or ii) recycle water plant. In this study, several unitary operations were tested order improve treated quality. Thus, following unit applied: adsorption using Natural Clay (NC) and Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC), ultrafiltration (UF) nanofiltration (NF) individually synergy: UF, nanofiltration, PAC-UF, NC-UF, UF-NF et Adsorption-UF/NF. experiments carried out on real effluent containing Indigo blue dye. A threshold concentration was observed above which performance no longer increases. NF alone showed better reduction COD (67%), color (78%), turbidity (98%) than UF (26%, 48%, 95%, respectively). coupling UF–NF a clear improvement quality terms (99%) with an flux from 67.81 L/h.m 2 90.62 . No fouling for while is significant during UF. used as pretreatment filtration leads enhancement performances removal 99.9%, 99.5% 79.5% respectively turbidity, NC-UF 100%, 99.4% 79.6% PAC-UF. Moreover, addition adsorbent controls constant high quickly attained remains stable over time. use natural clay represents economically profitable solution since can be obtained locally reused ceramic additive road surfacing without need regeneration.
