Microalgae are among the most promising feedstocks for a wide range of applications due to their ease cultivation, rapid growth rate, and ability accumulate significant amounts lipids other valuable compounds. In current study, two microalgae species, Chlorella sp. Spirulina platensis, were studied regarding chemical composition, lipid extraction by ultrasound-assisted solvent extraction, volatile compounds analysis. The optimization process was investigated with respect influence different parameters. highest content found in sp., which more than twice as high compared platensis. Both contain saturated fatty acids (SFAs), monounsaturated (MUFAs), polyunsaturated (PUFAs). platensis contains palmitic acid (42.9%) linolenic (22.5%), is low MUFA (8.5%), whereas oleic (21.9%), linoleic (25.3%), α-Linolenic (10.2%). Based on profile, nutritional indices calculated. Regarding content, amines, aldehydes, alcohols, ketones, hydrocarbons, heterocycle, thiocyanates, esters give odor profile.
