To promote environmental sustainability, this research investigated the potential of utilizing recycled polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) as raw material in extrusion (MEX) additive manufacturing (AM). enhance its mechanical response, carbon black (CB) was employed filler nanocomposite formation. Filament mixture at different concentrations produced printable feedstocks for MEX AM. Rheological analysis (viscosity and flow rate) showed that CB introduction to matrix beneficial consistent layer deposition, while differential scanning calorimetry thermogravimetric analyses verified thermal stability nanocomposites during processing. Mechanical properties were optimized, with increases modulus (27.8% 25.8%, respectively, tensile bending loadings) strength optimal loadings. Dynamic revealed viscoelastic response nanocomposites. Raman energy dispersive spectroscopy provided element-related insights. Surface morphology parts structure observed employing electron microscopy micro-computed tomography, revealing a positive impact on AM due presence The 4 wt.% content optimum one. This pioneers development new sustainable filaments highlights next-generation MEX-based
