The renovation of buildings impacts various factors; one them is the economic aspect, which has a significant influence on decision-making process in building refurbishment, especially social housing. An often-neglected aspect climate change. Typically, historical data are used to estimate building’s future energy needs. However, due change, this approach may fail accurately represent environmental conditions, resulting miscalculations consumption and costs. This study analyzed archetype obtained from TABULA webtool with characteristics house located Trieste. Dynamic simulations were performed using DesignBuilder EnergyPlus software models (the GERICS_CNRM-CM5 GERICS_IPSL-CM5A-MR EURO-CORDEX database). projected needs renovated its effects compared current scenarios, uncertainties parameters, outcome expressed terms percentiles Net Present Value (NPV). results show that since temperature increases future, need for heating period reduces, while cooling increases, directly affecting statistical distribution NPV.
