Daily, more and people consume snack bars that may have an impact on blood glucose levels. The aim of the present study was to compare acute effects a common plant-based bar (PB) developed at University Thessaly as functional diabetic insulin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Adults T2DM (n = 10) treated oral medications were studied randomized, crossover clinical trial.
