article
discusses
the
current
state
of
knowledge
on
use
virtual
reality
in
assessing
and/or
treating
body
image
and
disturbances
among
athletes
with
dysfunctional
eating
attitudes
behaviors
(
i.e.,
disorders
disordered
eating).
The
scientific
void
this
subject,
as
demonstrated
by
literature
review,
clearly
demonstrates
that
more
research
is
needed
to
fully
understand
contribution
field.
