The utilization of plant extracts as environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors has garnered considerable interest in the field metallic protection. primary objective this study was to explore a new approach for utilizing Dillenia suffruticosa leaves extract (DSLE) provide protection mild steel (MS) molar hydrochloric acid solution. phytocompounds responsible prevention were extracted using ethanol with Soxhlet apparatus. effectiveness inhibitor evaluated through gravimetric and electrochemical methods, along surface analysis corroded samples.
