During oilfield production, organic substances such as asphaltenes and resins present in crude oil are prone to adsorb onto the surfaces of reservoir rocks. This adsorption process can lead conversion hydrophilic rock into more oleophilic interfaces, which turn reduces permeability porosity reservoir, ultimately affecting overall recovery efficiency. Consequently, targeted modification wettability presents a promising strategy for enhancing rates. In this study, polymer layer comprising large molecular side chains hydroxyl groups was synthesized on surface nano-SiO2 enhance thermal stability polymer. Additionally, were employed improve core material reduce interfacial tension. The polymers characterized using techniques FTIR TG, results revealed that modified SiO2 exhibited superior performance reducing both tension contact angle when compared SiO2. Injection 0.4 wt% EP-HMTA-SiO2 solution resulted an increase rates by 16.4% 13.2% medium- low-permeability cores, respectively.
