This study investigated the removal of Brilliant Blue R (BBR) and Victoria (VBR), commonly used dyes in textile industry, from wastewater using pomegranate peel with an adsorption method. Pomegranate was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer, Emmet ve Teller (BET), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FT-IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), zeta potential. For both dyes, pH, adsorbent amount, contact time, salt effect, parameters were batch system, while amount flow rate continuous system. The results on indicate that they fit pseudo-second-order kinetic model. isotherms found to be compatible Langmuir isotherm In thermodynamic study, it determined process spontaneous (∆G°<0) exothermic (∆H°<0). It decided is a suitable for BBR VBR dyes. Finally, yields removing 90.38% 100%, respectively. result shows high efficiency obtained makes possible widely applied as treatment.
