In countries with extensive agricultural practices, there is a significant risk of soil degradation, making it essential to develop techniques for understanding and detecting these changes. this study, we used an earth observation system identify the temporal bare frequency thus, relate tillage its impact on carbon degradation. The work was performed in two important states Brazil, São Paulo Paraná. For that, historical field Remote Sensing (RS) data were analyzed relation between areas their detected by Landsat images, last 36 years using Geospatial Soil System (GEOS3). Historical surface temperature produced same images. addition, legacy pedological crops (i.e., cover) maps used. Finally, texture information spatialized based synthetic image (SISY). A total 28,000 sites topsoil organic (SOC) as reference soils state Paraná presented significantly lower when compared Paulo, mainly due wide use No-Tillage system. advancement sugarcane harvesting technologies together "boom" commodities after 2000s responsible considerable increases cover conservation. It noticed that more exposed remains, less has, having negative correlation (r≈ −0.5). Sandy both proved be ones subject highest exposure rates degraded. This fact concern, given sandy are susceptible degradation factors, such erosion. We observed public policies related systems adopted agro-community, which had dynamics. remote technique able infer how has been managed. crucial provides solid basis developing future aimed at sustainable production.
