The agricultural sector is evolving with the adoption of smart farming technologies, where Digital Twins (DTs) offer new possibilities for real-time monitoring, simulation, and decision-making. While previous research has explored Internet Things (IoT), UAVs, machine learning (ML), remote sensing (RS) in enhancing efficiency, a systematic approach to integrating these technologies within DTs ecosystem remains underdeveloped. This paper presents review 167 studies published between 2018 2025. objective this study examine recent advancements DTs-enabled precision agriculture propose comprehensive framework designing, integrating, optimizing farming. systematically examines current state DT adoption, identifies key barriers, computational efficiency challenges, provides step-by-step methodology implementation. sheds light on potential future direction implications policy, aim speed up DTs-based farm management systems their operational success commercial viability through analysis practical applications perspectives. an innovative strategy digital physical into important contribution existing literature.
