Resilience in the context of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a critical public health concern for elderly population. However, extent to which structured model can effectively determine resilience among older adults remains uncertain. In this study, we sought uncover most influential factors using Promotive and Protective Factors Processes (PPFP) model. Our sample comprised 936 community-dwelling aged 50 years above. Through implementation random forest analysis traditional logistic regression, investigated potential determinants resilience. results demonstrated efficacy (RF) analysis, with area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) ranging from 0.806 0.890 different score thresholds. Notably, psychological that significant included stress, depression, self-rated socioeconomic status, exercise habits, cognition. The application PPFP framework our study offered substantial benefits healthcare practitioners, enabling them identify both internal external variables warrant intervention bolstering Furthermore, utilization algorithm proved invaluable machine learning, particularly ranking importance resilience-related factors.

Breast cancer diagnosis has been associated with poor mental health, significant impairment of quality life. In order to ensure support for successful adaptation this illness, it is paramount importance identify the most prominent factors affecting well-being that allow accurate prediction health status across time. Here we exploit a rich set clinical, psychological, socio-demographic and lifestyle data from large multicentre study patients recently diagnosed breast cancer, in classify based on their further potential predictors such status. For purpose, supervised learning pipeline using cross-sectional was implemented formulation classification scheme 6 months after diagnosis. Model performance terms AUC ranged 0.81± 0.04 0.90± 0.03. Several psychological variables, including initial levels anxiety depression, emerged as highly predictive short-term women cancer.
