Abstract Integrating generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in pre-service teachers’ education programs offers a transformative opportunity to enhance the pedagogical development of future science educators. This conceptual paper suggests applying GenAI tool evaluate content knowledge (PCK) among teachers. By holding interactive dialogues with GenAI, teachers engage lesson planning way that reveals their understanding content, pedagogy, and PCK while facilitating practical application theoretical knowledge. Interpretation these interactions provides insights into teachers-to-be skills, enabling personalized learning experiences targeted program adjustments. The underscores need equip necessary competencies utilize effectively teaching practices. It contributes ongoing discourse on technology’s role teacher preparation programs, highlighting potential addressing existing challenges evaluating developing via GenAI. suggested research directions aim further investigate usage implications educational contexts.

Using the e-learning system in teaching and learning is becoming normal Tanzania's higher education. Higher education institutions (HEIs) strive to provide an appropriate environment for instructors students utilise effectively. This study explored students' utilisation of motivational factors that influenced utilisation. The surveyed demographic differences among 730 undergraduate who were randomly sampled from three campuses at a HEI Tanzania. Data analysed through descriptive statistics, independent t-tests one-way ANOVA. findings show significantly motivated by e-learning-supportive environment, lecturers' influences, personal interests. Similarly, highly utilised uploading downloading documents, but online activities could be more utilised. E-learning was found average, further measures should taken enhance use system. Furthermore, no significant difference gender, though it contrary different years study. With influencing utilisation, recommends intensive training on early years.

Abstract New knowledge builds upon existing foundations, which means an interdependent relationship exists between knowledge, manifested in the historical records of scientific system for hundreds years. By leveraging natural language processing techniques, this study introduces Scientific Concept Navigator, embedding‐based navigation model to infer “knowledge pathway” from research trajectories millions scholars. We validate that learned representations effectively delineate disciplinary boundaries and capture intricate relationships diverse concepts. Utility space is showcased through multiple applications. Firstly, we demonstrate multi‐step analogy inferences concepts various disciplines. Secondly, formulate cross‐domain conceptual dimensions observing distributional shifts 19 disciplines along these dimensions, including “Theoretical” “Applied,” “Societal” “Economic,” highlighting evolution functional attributes across domains. Lastly, by analyzing network structure, find connects with shorter global pathways, interdisciplinary play a critical role enhancing accessibility. Our framework offers novel approach mining inheritance pathways extensive literature, great significance understanding progression patterns, tailoring learning trajectories, accelerating progress.
