Abstract Actuators based on stimulus‐responsive soft materials have attracted widespread attention due to their significant advantages in flexibility and structural adaptability over traditional rigid actuators. However, the development of fast‐actuating, mechanical robust self‐healing actuators without compromising remains an ongoing challenge. Here, this study presents a photo‐responsive flexible actuator by incorporating core–shell liquid metal nano‐assemblies into polyurethane matrix construct dynamic supramolecular interface. The are endowed with adaptive characteristics external loading, being expected dissipate energy via reversible reconstruction hydrogen bonding deformation nano‐assemblies. obtained composites exhibit excellent strength (31 MPa), low modulus (2.02 high stretchability (1563.95%), autonomous (92.5%), NIR‐responsive actuation properties. Furthermore, combination cohesive but fluxible nano‐liquid core, strong interface not only achieves balance tensile also endows outstanding notch‐resistant performance (fracture energy≈58.8 kJ m −2 ) through multiphase dissipation. This work provides promising strategy for developing yet tough fields robotics artificial muscles.

Strong and tough hydrogels are promising candidates for artificial soft tissues, yet significant challenges remain in developing biocompatible, anti-swelling that simultaneously exhibit high strength, fracture strain, toughness, fatigue resistance. Herein, thermoplastic elastomer-reinforced polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) prepared through a synergistic combination of phase separation, wet-annealing, quenching. This approach markedly enhances the crystallinity interfacial interaction between PVA polyurethane (TPU). strategy results simultaneous improvement mechanical properties hydrogels, achieving tensile strength 11.19 ± 0.80 MPa, toughness 62.67 10.66 MJ m-3, strain 1030 106%, threshold 1377.83 62.78 J m-2. Furthermore, composite demonstrate excellent swelling resistance, biocompatibility, cytocompatibility. study presents novel fabricating strong, tough, stretchable, fatigue- swelling-resistant with applications flexible electronics, load-bearing biomaterials.
