Purpose This paper aims to analyze the reflection characteristics of coupled waves in a functionally graded piezomagnetic medium, considering gravitational effects. The objective is understand how flexomagnetism, strain gradients and gravity influence wave behaviors. Design/methodology/approach study incorporates flexomagnetic effects, micro-inertia into constitutive governing equations develop comprehensive model for propagation. A secular equation motion derived, behavior five distinct reflected analyzed, specifically focusing on their energy ratios. Numerical solutions validate conservation, graphs illustrate variations with incidence angle. Findings Results demonstrate that functional grading significantly impact distribution reflections, altering dynamics dispersion Functional effects introduce complexity reflection, providing insights redistribution. Originality/value offers novel approach by integrating propagation models materials, unique under complex conditions.
