A smooth, red, oval, or rhomboid patch on the dorsal midline is classic presentation of median glossitis (MRG), a rare and benign lesion tongue. MRG still not fully understood, which presents diagnostic hurdles calls for additional clinical investigation. It frequently associated with candidal infections.
