Abstract Geological carbon dioxide sequestration as a key approach to energy preservation and emissions reduction has garnered attention among scholars in recent years. The abandoned coal mine contains expansive caving areas roadway chambers, presenting promising opportunity repurpose the site geological storage facility. Nonetheless, numerous micro-cracks are present surrounding rock of roadway, particularly goaf. Under high-pressure seepage conditions resulting from long-term storage, will continue fracture expand, forming channels through which CO 2 can escape. To address aforementioned issues, this study conducted tests on superfine cement grout's properties determined its rheological stability characteristics based varying particle sizes different quantities fly ash, silica fume, high-efficiency water-reducing additives. sensitivity factors were analyzed an orthogonal test, leading proposing optimal ratio ultrafine ash high efficiency water reducing agent. This provides foundation for selecting slurry sealing performance rock.

The use of Supplementary Cementitious Materials (SCMs) or industrial wastes as a partial replacement for cement in the production concrete is an urgent need construction industry due to cement's growing environmental challenges and rising cost. In respect this, we conducted research work on proportioning binary mixes. Fly ash (FA) replaced 10 %, 20 30 % cement, while silica fume (SF) 5 15 cement. A control mix was also developed with 100 no SCM. results showed increase compressive strength FA compared at early age 3–28 days, but maximum 4 discovered later 56 days FA. For SF concrete, considerable seen 3 days. Like 2 improvement recorded concrete. This study further focused concrete's temporal evolution by developing model (SEM) using nonlinear regression analysis 95 confidence level. Pearson correlation coefficient used determine between values experimental results. comparison, fib Model Code 2010 applied data, good agreement observed among proposed model, values, can be expanded address regression-related problems. Finally, life cycle assessment revealed that utilizing lowered Global Warming Potential (GWP) 9 19 29 respectively. Likewise, reduced GWP 14 %.

A novel type of effective microfine cement-based grout (EMCG) is designed for the complicated water-rich sand stratum. Superplasticizer (SP), compound excitation modulator (CEM), enhanced stabilizer (ES) and active activator (AA) were selected as optimizers. Through laboratory tests, main properties EMCG i.e. fluidity performance, viscosity, bleeding rate, setting time, strength volume stability studied. Based on XRD mineral SEM microstructure hydration mechanism The results showed that optimal parameters 40% fly ash (MFA), 14-18% steel slag (MSS), 20-25% (MS), 2-2.5% naphthalene-based SP (N), 1-1.5% AA, 0.4-2.0% CEM 6% ES. 28d compressive can reach 12.9-32.8 MPa. 7 d exceed 70% 28 strength. grouting injectability reinforcement simulation was acquired under different influence factors particle size distribution, compactness, type, water-solid ratio (W/S), pressure, etc. Quantitative relationships among enhancement or permeability coefficient established. microscopic slurry-rock interface obtained. Finally, based field sealing effects stratum discussed. Due to high overall performance excellent engineering applicability EMCG, it an efficient cementitious especially seepage prevention in geotechnical underground engineering.
