Abstract This research investigates the potential of using nanoparticles, Poly Aluminum Silicate and Calcium Silicate, industrial by-products, Recycled Glass Powder (RGP) Ground Granulated Ballast Furnace Slag (GGBS) to enhance durability strength a sandy soil, particularly in wet or saturated conditions where water table is close building foundations. The study aims determine optimal content concentration additives assess their influence on compressive failure strain. dry alkaline solutions were determined. Uniaxial tests conducted various stabilized geopolymers, considering factors such as activator type, nanoparticle type percentage, degree saturation. Scanning electron microscopy images taken analyzed verify geomechanical testing outcomes. Mixtures with nanomaterials exhibited greater than untreated some exhibiting up tenfold increase. GGBS-based samples displayed twofold increase nanomaterial addition, while RGP-based experienced reduced strength. However, both addressed concerns conditions. addition 2% mixtures led significant gains, showing 20% after indicated nanoparticles by-products resolving major concern regarding geopolymers which lack These findings have implications for eco-friendly geoconstruction materials practices.
