Using silty clay as roadbed filling can lead to diseases. In this paper, was modified with lignin and BFS (GGBS). Then, the mechanical properties, freeze-thaw characteristics, microscopic mechanisms were investigated using unconfined compression tests, California bearing ratio rebound modulus cycling scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results showed that curing age increased, compressive strength (UCS) of gradually relationship between stress axial strain samples transitioned from strain-softening strain-hardening. As content decreased UCS, (CBR), first increased then tended stabilize. Adding effectively resist volume increase mass loss during cycles. When 4%:8%, growth rate CBR, largest, change in UCS under cycle smallest, improvement effect most significant. experimental indicated a large amount hydrated calcium silicate products interunit connections, filled soil pores, reduced pore number size. research further improve applicability engineering, protect environment, reduce waste resources.

Stabilization using industrial by-products is presently gaining importance in the construction sector for improving geotechnical characteristics of soft soils. The optimum dosage stabilisers has become great interest to experimenters terms improved strength, time, and economy projects. This work presents utilization biomedical waste ash strength soil. In this paper, response surface methodology (RSM) was adopted determine combination curing period (C) (BA) quantity attaining maximum unconfined compressive (UCS) soil reduce number trial tests required. factors C BA were varied from 0 14 days 4% 20%, respectively, experiments conducted according experimental plan provided by RSM design. Based on a Face-centred Central Composite Design (FCCCD), mathematical equation created results. Analysis variance (ANOVA) used generated model’s significance, results indicated statically significant model (p ≤ 0.05). revealed that imparts more influence towards improvement, 19.912% BA, with yield UCS 203.008 kPa. optimization technique may be suggested obtain preliminary estimation prior stabilization.

The extraction of mining resources, as well processing processes such ore beneficiation and smelting, generate large amounts tailings that are difficult to directly utilize. Meanwhile, substantial filling materials required for the voids formed after operations, environmental issues safety hazards brought on by massive solid waste disposal cannot be ignored. By utilizing with alkaline pozzolanic activity binder component gold filler aggregate prepare material fill up void areas, purpose treatment can achieved. In this study, salt sludge, steel slag, ground granulated blast furnace were used all-solid fluidized mine which not only solves engineering problem easy collapse airspace in process but also ensures a backfill effect high strength, continuously guarantees uninterrupted progress project. At same time, preparation consume amount other waste, solving their stockpiling. components wastes all general industrial wastes, so will have an impact surrounding environment. effects ratios workability investigated means slump flow tests. Combined unconfined compressive strength test, change curing age water-binder ratio was studied. experimental results showed value positively correlated ratio. range satisfying 180~260 mm less than 400 0.95~1.106. However, decreased increase ratio, conforming hyperbolic relationship. had strengths 0.22, 1.09, 1.95 MPa at 3, 7, 28 d, respectively, meeting requirements. Finally, method determining optimal considering both performance is proposed based relationship between value,
