To study the influence of electrochemically modified mediums on physical and mechanical parameters mudstone samples, focusing electrolyte solutions electrode materials, this paper combines theoretical analysis experimental research. It analyzes modification mechanism through electrochemical techniques, clarifying that main factors improving strength are electro-osmotic drainage consolidation reaction cementation. The was using controlled variable method. sample’s hydraulic properties shear were measured before after modification. compared analyzed effectiveness different materials. results indicated liquid limit samples decreased by 7.874%, while plastic increased 9.499%. type ions introduced solution influenced cementation mudstone. AlCl3 with a 10% mass fraction CaCl2 25% both effectively modify reinforcement; however, is most effective for modifying samples. three materials (graphite, iron aluminum) revealed graphite electrodes had highest strength, those aluminum lowest strength. internal friction angle electrode-modified specimens 26.7°, to original value 23.9°, cohesion 34.4 kPa, 12.3 nearly times value. recommended use in engineering applications.
