As a polymer-like organic material, asphalt often undergoes aging during service life. Regeneration technology is the main approach to achieve its recycling; therefore, rejuvenator an important factor affecting regeneration effect. In order evaluate rejuvenation effects of rejuvenators on aged asphalt, fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) slurry and penetrant containing epoxy functional groups were used prepare conventional (CR1 CR2) penetrable (PR). The impact physical properties was investigated, different mild severe evaluated through rheological tests. Results show that effectively lubricates movement molecules, improving high temperature stability resistance rejuvenator. CR1 CR2 are more suitable for as has relatively minimal effect chemical composition colloidal structure asphalt. At 25% dosage, PR significantly restores while still fail meet specifications. effective because it not only dissolves disperses asphaltenes but also weakens interactions between asphaltenes, which facilitates restoration enhances findings this study provide insights into design efficient utilization reclaimed pavement (RAP).
