This study provides a detailed characterization of the AA5083 aluminum alloy, surface, and interface over 6 months immersion in seawater, employing techniques such as SEM/EDX, GIXRD, μ-Raman XPS. The purpose was to evaluate evolution biomineralization process that occurs on Al–Mg alloy. By investigating specific conditions favor situ growth layered double hydroxide (LDH) during seawater result biomineralization, this research insights into marine highlighting its potential an innovative sustainable strategy for corrosion protection.
