In the patent field, facilitates definition of well-defined portfolio, aiming accurate complete retrievals subsequent analyses. recent decade, rapid growth information communication technology (ICT) sector has rendered data centers (DCs) indispensable processing, storage, cloud computing, while ensuring security privacy during DC operations. However, energy-intensive operations pose challenges global efforts toward achieving net-zero emissions goals. response, this research develops refinement process uses case study in-depth application portfolio analysis. The covers five sub-technologies. Utilizing proposed framework, 1801 most decade’s patents related relevant “DC technologies” are retrieved analyzed. Patients with lower limb amputation experience ambulation disorders since they rely exclusively on visual information in addition to the tactile receive from stump–socket interface. The lack of sensory feedback commercial prostheses is essential their abandonment by patients transtibial (TTA) or transfemoral (TFA). Recent studies have obtained promising results using invasive interfaces peripheral nervous system presenting drawbacks related surgery. This paper aims (a) investigate potential transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) as noninvasive means for restoring somatotopic amputees and (b) evaluate effect over a 4-week experimental protocol. first phase study involved 13 participants (6 TTA 7 TFA), second one evaluated long-term TENS performance 2 (S1 S7 TFA). proposed enhanced participant’s significantly increasing body weight distribution between legs (S1: 134% 143%, P < 0.0055; S7: 66% 72%, 0.0055) gait symmetry step length index 11% 5%, stance −4% −2%, 0.0055). It led postamputation neuropathic pain reduction S1 (neuropathic symptom inventory score diminished 6 0). demonstrates how prosthesis embodiment, enabling greater load bearing more physiological patterns. highlights solution feedback, addressing current limitations paving way further research.

Abstract Cloud computing faces challenges in energy consumption and quality of service (QoS). Virtual machine (VM) consolidation, involving relocation between hosts, helps reduce power usage enhance QoS. OpenStack Neat, a leading VM consolidation framework, uses the modified best‐fit decreasing (MBFD) strategy but QoS issues. To address these, we present secure efficient (SEEVMC) method, introducing unique host selection criterion based on incurred loss during placement. We evaluated SEEVMC with real‐time workload data from PlanetLab Materna over ten days using CloudSim. For PlanetLab, reduced by 78.33%, 57.74%, 19.57%, 6.30% system‐level agreement (SLA) violations 92.49%, 92.78%, 45.16%, 15.67%, compared MBFD, power‐aware best fit decreasing, medium power‐efficient bit decreasing. Materna, 14.12%, 59.5%, 3.92%, 3.80% fewer SLA 74.85%, 86.95%, 11.40%, 46.60%. also migrations time per active host, improving cloud efficiency.
