Abstract The indirect impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on clinical services in peripheral hospitals is not fully described. We compared Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA) and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) management outcome an Israeli hospital. included 1029 CVA 497 STEMI patients. Those who arrived during (15/3/2020-15/4/2022) before (1/1/2018-14/3/2020) were demographically comparable. During pandemic, median time for patients from arrival to imaging was longer (23 vs. 19 minutes, p = 0.001); timing tissue Plasminogen Activator administration similar (49 45 min, 0.61); transfer another hospital more common (20.3% 14.4% 0.01) length stay (LOS) shorter (3 4 days, < 0.05). Among patients, intervention intra- (45 50 minutes 0.02); Mean LOS (3.86 4.48 0.01), unplanned re-admission less frequent (7.8% 14.6% 0.01). Mortality didn’t significantly change. Our data shows no major negative outcomes, possibly improved care Follow-up qualitative studies with neurology cardiology staff will inform how quality maintained crises.

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic brought about significant challenges for health systems globally, with medical professionals at the forefront of this crisis. Understanding their organizational expectations and well-being implications is crucial crafting responsive healthcare environments. Methods: Between 2021 2022, an online survey was conducted among 852 across four provinces in Poland: Mazovia, Łódź, Świętokrzyskie, Lublin. tool, based on a comprehensive literature review, comprised dichotomous questions specific queries to gather explicit insights. A 5-point Likert scale implemented capture nuanced perceptions. The goal of this study was to explore caregivers' experiences, perspectives, emotions, knowledge and needs in caring for older people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
