Despite growing popularity, associations between dosage and outcomes in meditation app interventions have not been established. We examined this relationship using a range of operationalizations (e.g., minutes use, days number type activities completed) strategies for modeling ordinary least squares regression, multilevel modeling, latent class analysis). used data from recently completed randomized controlled trial testing (n=662; 80.4% with elevated depression/anxiety) which included psychological distress as its preregistered primary outcome. Across 41 models, whether or an association was detected well the shape direction varied. Although several models indicated that higher associated larger decreases distress, many failed to show some even showed opposite. There is growing enthusiasm towards the role of smartphone app-based interventions in management insomnia and related sleep problems. We conducted a meta-analysis investigating effectiveness for disturbances. From 19 RCTs, we identified significant pooled effect sizes primary outcomes self-reported (g = 0.60; 05 % CI 0.44, 0.76; NNT 4.8) disturbances 0.70; 95 0.58, 0.83; 4.1) favour over control conditions. These effects remained robust when restricting analyses that delivered placebo control, received lower risk bias rating, had larger sample size. Introductory experiences and expectations of mobile-based meditation: An interpretative phenomenological analysis DOI

This study explores the introductory experiences and expectations of mobile-based meditation (MbM) among university students, a non-clinical population, to address gaps in mindfulness research regarding individual needs. Using interpretative phenomenological analysis, semi-structured online interviews were conducted with six students. The analysis identified three interconnected themes initial MbM practice: calm (induced by clarity, escape, portability, autonomy, reduced distractions); focus (affected setting, novelty structure guided meditations, disentanglement thoughts, ‘wakeful sleep’ experience); self-awareness (focused on bodily sensations, memories, abilities, emotions, life’s pleasures). While was generally positive, perceived limitations caused demotivation discontinuation for some participants. According to the 2024 Medscape Physician Burnout and Depression Report, 49% of physicians report experiencing burnout—and osteopathic family (OFPs) are no exception. OFPs face physical emotional demands that place them at risk for chronic stress, fatigue, reduced clinical satisfaction. This article presents a 12-step framework grounded in principles behavioral science support physician resilience. Strategies include mindfulness-based stress reduction, gratitude practices, movement-based interventions, technology-enabled wellness tools. The is aligned with established models such as self-determination theory growth mindset psychology. A core element this model self-directed Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). BACKGROUND Mental health problems are highly prevalent with mental apps emerging as a potential scalable solution. However, in the current policy environment, it remains unclear to what extent clinical populations benefiting from or at risk of suboptimal outcomes app market.
