Polluting species released in industrial-colored effluents contaminate water, degrading its quality and persisting the aquatic environment; therefore, it must be treated for safe discharge or onsite reuse/recycling to ensure a fresh water supply. This review has principal goal of facilitating understanding some important issues concerning wastewater (WW) treatment systems, mainly based on coagulation–flocculation step, as follows: (i) significance facilities offered by specialized processes, including step single associated (i.e., followed sedimentation/filtration air flotation); (ii) characteristics WW, especially WW from textile industry, which can reduced via step; (iii) primary secondary groups hybrid materials their when used coagulants–flocculants; (iv) influence different process operating variables regimens efficiency studied (v) benefits using colored processes future development perspectives. The consulted scientific reports underline applying coagulants–flocculants treatment, fresh, natural that achieve high removal rates, e.g., dye color >80%, heavy metals, COD BOD >50%, turbidity >90%. All reported data feasibility these polluting (especially dyes) industrial possibility selecting adequate one specific system.

This research investigates commercial activated carbon (AC) potential to remove methyl orange (MO) dye removal from aqueous solution using a batch process. The AC material was characterized FTIR spectroscopy and SEM analysis. effect of the main operating parameters, such as pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial concentration, studied. MO could be accomplished within 30 min at pH value 3. calculated maximum adsorption capacity onto 129.3 mg/g, while efficiency 97.8%. Adsorption results were analyzed by studying Langmuir Freundlich isotherm models. data on better explained than isotherm. pseudo-second-order kinetic model may have had an material. showed that can used effective sorbent for wastewater sample. Moreover, has good reusability practical utilization capacities.

Most water systems that support ecosystems and feed humans are depleted or stressed. Aquifer characteristics, topography, subsurface activities, climate, geochemical processes regulate groundwater availability, a reliable source of fresh water. Globally, agriculture, industries, the domestic sector three major sectors consume vast quantities freshwater resources. Further anthropogenic such as soil leaching, acid rain, fertilizer, pesticides, mining, other industrial resulted in release organic inorganic pollutants affected global In India, is used huge quantities, resulting depletion 1 to 2 m year. Low-income countries face many issues related pollution, availability safe minimal. 2019, deaths due unsafe sanitation accounted for 2.2% total deaths, amounting 1.2 million people’s deaths. India recorded 6.6% 2019. China around 90.41% 60.4% utilization agricultural purposes, respectively. 2020, utilized nutrients (nitrate phosphate) crop growth enhance yield, highest nitrate phosphate concentrations groundwater. Remediating contaminants from different sources requires knowledge their concentration, behavior, cycling, degradation pathways. According safety guidelines, limiting optimizing pesticide waste disposal, empty container disposal can reduce contamination. The present study summarized various sectors, potential contamination impacts on human health environment, preventive measures, mitigation methods overcome pollution.

The incidence of water pollution in developing countries is high due to the lack regulatory policies and laws that protect bodies from anthropogenic activities industrial wastewater. Industrial wastewater contains significant amounts heavy metals are detrimental human health, aquatic organisms, ecosystem. focus this review was evaluate sources treatment methods wastewater, with an emphasis on technologies, advantages, disadvantages, innovation. It observed conventional (such as flotation, coagulation/flocculation, adsorption) had shown promising results but posed certain limitations, such generation volumes sludge, relatively low removal rates, inefficiency treating metal concentrations, sensitivity varying pH. Recent technologies like nanotechnology, photocatalysis, electrochemical coagulation have advantages over for removing metals, including higher improved energy efficiency, greater selectivity specific contaminants. However, costs associated these advanced remain a major drawback. Therefore, we recommend future developments technology reducing both waste generation.

Antibiotics are extensively used as medicine for humans and also in livestock growth promotion, disease prevention, treatment. However, the pervasive usage of antibiotics has led to a critical global challenge raising issues regarding antibiotic-resistant bacteria genes. The presence genes poses growing threat impacting effectiveness treatments infectious diseases. Projections suggest that by 2050, there could be over 10 million deaths attributed pathogens carrying antibiotic resistance Consequently, is pressing need methods target removal residual antibiotics, eradication bacteria, elimination antibiotic-resistance specifically wastewater treatment waste management before their release into environment. This remediation approach aims diminish selective pressure on native nature caused mitigate emergence potential strains. review paper outline current status significance control.
