This research investigates the future dynamics of water yield services in Gorgan River Basin North Iran by analyzing land cover changes from 1990 to 2020, using Landsat images and predicting up 2040 with Land Change Modeler InVEST model under three scenarios: continuation, conservation, mitigation. The results indicate significant shifts agricultural impacted yields, which fluctuated 324.7 million cubic meters (MCM) 279.7 MCM 2010, before rising 320.1 2020. study uniquely assesses effects use on projecting a 13.6 % increase continuation scenario, 3.9 1.6 decrease mitigation, limits steep slopes prevent soil erosion floods. underscores interplay between use, vegetation cover, yield, emphasizing strategic management for resource preservation effective watershed GRB.
