Abstract With the rapid development of national economy, increasing attention has been given to living environment in rural areas, especially indoor thermal and wind environments. This study conducted onsite measurements questionnaire surveys during summer five villages northeastern Sichuan. A total 89 traditional residences were selected investigate their fundamental characteristics, environment, humidity conditions comfort levels. The results showed that when expressed as neutral temperature humidity, difference was 1.35°C 8.14%. Local residents exhibited higher tolerance toward local compared nonlocal volunteers, who displayed greater sensitivity it. In addition, had a value 0.03 acceptance 1.16, whereas volunteers 1.42 −0.45.

Air-conditioning (AC) intermittent operation is extensively employed owing to occupancy regulations and residents' habits. This conditioning type significantly affects the indoor air temperature as a result of on-off cycles AC, leading potential high differences between adjacent rooms due varying rules. Based on this, numerical simulations were done deal with overall thermal behavior typical bedrooms under operation, individual contributions from different envelope components discussed considering four models AC in rooms. The results demonstrate that optimizing these can lower average transient heat flows by 16.6% - 65.03% consideration model. Among components, ceiling exhibited highest energy efficiency reduction ratio up 42.8%. Furthermore, model had significant impact cooling load, greatly reduced disturbances neighboring fluctuation percentage daily transfer capacities decreased 33.89%-37.16% 20.64%-23.76%. Specifically, opaque envelopes resulted reductions 32.06% 30.48% respectively, ceilings contributing most at 15.1 % 14.2%.

The application efficiency of the Dynamic Rotating Latent-Energy-Storage Envelope (DRLESE) system is highly contingent upon dynamic rotation timings. To gain optimal timings, six different timings were examined by employing liquid fraction, thermal storage and release, surface temperature heat flow. numerical transfer method was employed verified an experiment. Results indicated that initial occurs in forenoon, when inner aligns with sol-air temperature. Subsequently, achieving secondary possible afternoon equals PCM (Phase Change Material). Under these optimized significant enhancements performance DRLESE observed. By optimizing indoor effective release can reach up to 3182.9 kJ/Day effectiveness percentage exceeding 99.99%, flow increased 5.86%–12.26%.

Lightweight envelopes are increasingly utilized in temporary relief and shelter buildings, due to their cost-effectiveness efficient construction process. However, these often result inadequate indoor thermal conditions during the summer months, which can negatively impact physical psychological well-being of occupants, particularly victims patients disaster or epidemic situations. Addressing this challenge necessitates use simple yet effective materials technologies improve environments even with limited resources. This study explores potential shading nets enhance lightweight buildings by mitigating solar radiation gain period. A comparative experiment was conducted on two one equipped standard six-needle black nets, assess environment air-conditioning energy consumption. The findings reveal that reduce intensity approximately 57.86 %, resulting a significant decrease peak air temperatures 2.3°C 3.4°C under natural ventilation reduction consumption up 23 % air-conditioned conditions. These demonstrate improving comfort reducing usage, providing practical solution for enhancing living structures hot weather.

Wilderness has proven to provide a wide range of ecosystem services (ES). have been shown play an important role in preserving biodiversity and providing ES, which is indispensable both nature people. It essential integrate ES quantification into wilderness conservation management. This study presents method that combines the mapping ecological indicators measure wilderness. The was applied 155,800 km2 Shandong province China, across 23 types land use. First, relative value (RWV) service capability (ESC) were quantified according Weighted Linear Combination (WLC). Then, spatial autocorrelation between RWV ESC tested analyzed using GeoDa software. Finally, Redundancy analysis used investigate primary drivers different landscape types. findings showed that, there 27,263 province, 6,294 high-quality region with highest Yellow River Delta (RWV = 0.82), area Laoshan Mountain (ESC 0.76). Spatial positive correlation (Pearson's r 0.637), had significant relevance (Moran's I 0.589, P < 0.005). high-high clusters found cover 5,223 areas. Regression (R2 0.744) can quantify urban reliably. Population density (Explaining 33.9 %-49.3 %) be key indicator changes through analysis. In addition, we discussed approach adopted support planning decisions dealing
