The lithium resource is a crucial national strategic asset, and China's salt lakes are abundant in lithium. Efficient extraction of from these holds immense significance. Among the various methods available for lakes, adsorption method stands out due to its high selectivity, economic viability, advanced process maturity. key lies developing high-performance materials, with titanium oxide (LTO)-type lithium-ion sieves (LIS) being considered promising candidates. Therefore, we have concentrated on structure mechanism titanium-based ion preparation different precursors this review. Moreover, two modification methods, i.e., doping surface coating, discussed. Lastly, insufficiency current research proposed, optimization application LIS prospected.
